Pre-Requisites

Betting Assistant Add-On allows automated betting to take place according to any back or lay staking plan in TSM software.

There are 3 pre-requisites. You need the following installed on your computer -
1) Microsoft Excel
2) Gruss Betting Assistant
and
3) An active Betfair Account
|
How Does Automated Betting Work ?
TSM DOES NOT actually place the bets itself. Betting Assistant will be placing all bets on behalf of TSM. The bet result will also be obtained through Betting Assistant. To be able to communicate with Betting Assistant, a second application is used and this is Microsoft Excel.
TSM will connect to the same Excel Workbook as Betting Assistant and automate Excel. This is then fed back into Betting Assistant which will place the bets as desired. The diagram below should help explain things.

Is there a Maximum Stake ?

The Advanced and Unregistered Version of TSM limits the size of bets to 2 units. This will be £ or $. Furthermore, the Unregistered version of TSM will be limited to 10 bets at any one time.
The Pro version allows UNLIMITED stakes to be used. It is recommended and encouraged to test the automated betting before purchasing the Pro version. This will ensure you are only purchasing the Pro version when you are entirely happy and satisfied that the software works to your satisfaction.

What Automated Systems are Included ?
Favourites - This allows you to automatically select the 1st,2nd 3rd favourite etc.
Search For A String - 'Search For A String' is designed for use primarily with Greyhound Racing. It allows you to search for a string inside another string. For instance, if you wish to back trap 6 throughout an evening of greyhound racing you could search for the number 6 inside each selection. This is because all dogs in trap 6 are prefixed with a 6. This can apply to other sports as well.
Odds Based - The selection closest to the lower end of the odds range will be placed.
Build Your Own Greyhound System - This allows you to bet on greyhound racing traps when certain market criteria is matched. The criteria being odds based. For instance you set it up so that trap 5 is selected only if trap 1 has odds of greater than 10 etc.
Editors Favourite Addition ! - Get Selections from Excel - If you run your triggered betting spreadsheets through Gruss but wish to use TSM for staking then setup your spreadsheet to display the bet selection text in a unique cell. TSM will check this unique cell for any changes upon each refresh. If a new selection is found this is added to the selection list.
Build Your Own Favourite Based System - This allows you to bet on favourites when certain market criteria is matched. For instance you could set TSM up to bet on the second favourite but only if the 4th favourite had odds of over 10.
