How to Use Special Codes ?

All 5 codes work in the same way.

<SSx> - Set Stake Special Filter - When turned on TSM will check for the text of  <SSx>  in the bet selection text. For example if you wished to stake £10 rather than the TSM calculated stake you would write <SS10> along with your bet details in the bet selection column. This could be written as

<SS10> Red Rum

or

Red Rum <SS10>

In the screenshot below <SS10> has been added to the selection column for bet 9. The stake has changed from 1 to 10 just for that bet.

<WDx> - Withdraw Money Special Filter - When turned on TSM will check for the text of  <WDx>  in the bet selection text. For example if you wished to withdraw £50 you would write  <WD50> along with your bet details in the bet selection column. This could be written as

<WD50> Red Rum

or

Red Rum <WD50>

In the screenshot below <WD50> has been added to bet 12. 50 units have been taken off from the Cumulative Total after the bet has been placed.

<Px> -  Override Odds Place Division (Each Way Staking Plans Only) - When turned on TSM will check for the text of  <Px>  in the bet selection text. For example if you wished to use a divisor of 5 you would write  <P5> along with your bet details in the bet selection column. This could be written as

<P5> Red Rum

or

Red Rum <P5>

In the screenshot below <P5> has been added to the second bet. Level Each Way Staking is used. There are 2 bets shown with the same odds (8). The first bet uses the default divisor of 4. The second bet uses the <P5> code and has a divisor of 5.

<SCx> - Override Commission Level - When turned on TSM will check for the text of  <SCx>  in the bet selection text. For example if you wished to set the commission at 5% you would write  <SC5> along with your bet details in the bet selection column. This could be written as

<SC5> Red Rum

or

Red Rum <SC5>

In the screenshot below <SC5> has been added to bet 2. You can see that 5% commission has been applied to that bet. Compare to Bet 1 which has the same odds but used the global commission setting of 2%.

<DHx> - Dead Heat (x Equals Number of Winners) - When turned on TSM will check for the text of  <DHx>  in the bet selection text. For example if you had a selection that was involved in a Dead Heat with 1 other selection you would write <DH2> along with your bet details in the bet selection column. This could be written as

<DH2> Red Rum

or

Red Rum <DH2>

In the screenshot below <DH2> has been added to bet 95. You can see that the Profit has been reduced as per the standard Dead Heat Payout Rules.  Commission is switched OFF to make the calculations  easier to understand.

Return = (Backer’s Stake * (Number of Expected Winners/Number of Actual Winners)) * Original Odds

So in our example we have -

Return = (1 * (1/2)) * 5.67 = £2.84

Our profit is

Return - Stake = £1.84

Lay Bet Dead Heat - In the screenshot below Bet 3 is Dead Heat but still shown as a winning bet. When there are 2 winners in a single winner race, the lay stake is halved. Half of the stake was a winning bet. And the other half lost.

The easiest way to work out the profit is to split the bet up. First work out the portion of the winning bet and losing bet. If there are 2 winners when there should of been only one winner then half the stake.

In the screenshot above the stake was £20. There are 2 winners. Therefore the stake is divided equally. 20/ 2 = £10

£10 was a winning bet and £10 was a losing bet.

Winning Bet = £10 Profit

Losing Bet = £10 * 5.67 - £10 = £46.7 Loss

Total = £10 - £46.7 = -£36.7
