Lay Labouchere Staking Plan

Exactly the same as the Back Version of Labouchere. As with the back version there is a setting to allow use for the Reverse Lay Labouchere.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answer: The Lay Labouchere Staking Plan (also known as the Cancellation System) is a progressive recovery plan. You start with a sequence of numbers that sum to your target profit. The stake (or liability) is the sum of the first and last numbers in the sequence. On a winning lay you cross out the first and last numbers. On a losing lay you add the lost amount to the end of the sequence.

Answer:

  • Starting Sequence – Custom numbers or auto-generated
  • Unit Size – Base unit value or % of bank
  • Reverse Labouchere Mode – Increases sequence on wins instead of losses
  • Maximum Stake / Sequence Length – Important safety limits

Answer: In standard mode the sequence grows on losses (negative progression). In Reverse mode the sequence grows on wins, allowing you to capitalise on winning streaks while crossing out numbers on losses.

Answer: It works best with higher strike-rate lay systems (ideally 60%+). It is not suitable for low strike-rate or highly volatile systems because losing runs can cause the sequence and stakes to grow rapidly.

Answer: It is a structured recovery plan that gives a clear profit target per cycle. It is more aggressive than flat plans (Lay Level, Lay Fixed Liability) but offers more control than unlimited recovery systems when maximum stake limits are used.
