Last Bet Code in TSM and How It Can Increase Your Betting Profits
The Last Bet Code in TSM is used to tell TSM that the current bet is the Last Bet of the Day. If you are using a suitable staking plan, the stakes are then re-calculated based on the current cumulative total. This results in your stakes increasing/decreasing as your bank grows or shrinks.
The most obvious staking plan we use this for is Level Stakes where we can increase the stakes daily instead of after every bet. This is particularly useful when we are placing numerous bets during the day and not always betting live. Sometimes you may numerous bets all going off at the same time and therefore cannot possibly calculate each stake after each bet as you do not know the previous result. This is exactly where the Last Bet Code comes in handy.
Let’s look at an example using Level Staking Plan. We are using £1 stakes and the <LB> code is ticked as below.

I am using some bet data from a Greyhound Racing System exported from Selection Hunter. The date has been stored in the Spare 1 Column. Bet 17 is the last bet of the day. Bet 18 shows a different date.

Notice at the moment that all 1975 bets are £1 stakes. Now let’s add a Last Bet Code Manually. On bet 17 add the text <LB> into the Selection Column. It can be anywhere in the column. Personally, I always add the code after the selection itself. Press ‘Update Results’ to tell TSM to recalculate everything. (Only changes to the result column cause an automatic recalculation).

Notice how the ‘NEW DAY’ flag is added Bet 17. The stakes are recalculated and as the bank is currently £98.36 this results in a reduced stake of £0.98 for the next day.
As we have not added any further <LB> codes in our data, all the remaining stakes are £0.98 as well.
Now you might be wondering if you have to manually add <LB> for all the data. Sometimes you may need to. However, if you have a date in either Spare 1 or Spare 2 Column then you can ask TSM to go through your data and add the <LB> code automatically.
Go to the Data Manipulation Tab and press Add Last Bet <LB> Codes.

A new dialog box appears. Match up the date format and select the correct column.

Press OK – Add <LB> Codes and just like magic, TSM has added <LB> codes throughout your data. If something isn’t right you can always press Undo on the main screen and try a different date format.

We can see the stake has been recalculated daily. Our cumulative Total has increased and our stake is now £4.2
<LB> codes can be used in various staking plans.
