What is the Difference Between TSM V7 and TSM V8?
Since the first version of TSM was released almost 20 years ago, we have strived to make the software bigger and better over time. There is a blog post on the history of TSM (updated every couple of years). In summary:

Single Subscription - TSM V8(Desktop) & TSMapp(Web Based)
With the release of TSM V8 the decision was made to combine TSM V8 and TSMapp into a Single Subscription. This made TSM sustainable to maintain going forward. Previous versions were 1 off payments for a license to use TSM with updates guaranteed for 1 year. Current price for a TSM V8 (Desktop) & TSMapp (Web Based) is £25 every 6 months or £40 yearly. This is less than the price of a Costa coffee once a month! Subscription Options.
Ongoing Support for TSM V7 finished on the 1st Jan 2025 whilst all efforts are now spent on improving and maintaining TSM V8 and the TSMapp.
This now means of course that TSM V8 has had several more years development than TSM V7 and now includes many features that are NOT availble in earlier versions. There are too many to list in this blog post. The main features available in TSM V8 and TSMapp are:

Virtual Files – Load and Save your files directly to our server. This allows you to change from Desktop to Web Version and use whatever version your situation needs. Start the day on the Desktop at home. Use the Web Version at work. Then when back at home, finish the day on the Desktop.
Staking Plans – Many additional staking plan settings as well as 4 completely NEW Staking Plans, including Whitaker, 6 Point Divisor, Certain Profit and Lay Whitaker.
Advanced Filters/Reports – Improved Filters allow you really pin point where your edge is. Learn More…
Duel Input in both Desktop and TSMapp – Add new bets directly into the main grid OR add bets manually using a dialog box. Drag n drop bets. Move the order of the bets around if you make a mistake.
TSM Auto Results Feature – Quickly find and update bet results for UK/IRE Horse Racing and UK Greyhound Racing. Accessed through the Main Grid Context Menu. Right Click over the selected row to bring up the Context Menu.
Selection Hunter – Create your own Selection Systems using our built in System Builder Tool. Available for both Horses and Greyhounds with over 200 filters for Horses and 150 filters for Greyhounds.
Faster – Both TSM V8 and TSMapp were completely recoded and optimised for speed. Both are many times faster than previous versions when dealing with larger datasets.
Racecards – TSM includes UK & IRE Horse Racing Racecards and UK Greyhound Racecards.
